The Central African CFA Franc (XAF) is the official currency of six Central African countries: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon. It is issued by the Bank of Central African States (BEAC).

The Burundian Franc (BIF) is the official currency of Burundi. It was introduced in 1964, replacing the Belgian Congo franc. The currency is subdivided into 100 centimes, although coins are no longer in circulation due to inflation.
