The Central African CFA Franc (XAF) is the official currency of six Central African countries: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon. It is issued by the Bank of Central African States (BEAC).

The CFP Franc (XPF) is the currency used in French Polynesia, New Caledonia, and Wallis and Futuna. It was created in 1945 and is pegged to the euro.
